    About the Opportunity

     

    At In-Balance, we’re looking to cast the net wide for a talented Physiotherapist who’s ready to explore and build their unique skill set in an encouraging and collaborative environment. This role offers you a chance to bring your passion for Musculoskeletal, Lymphoedema, or Neuro-rehabilitation. Whether you have experience or are keen to learn, we invite you to be part of our team, where your career growth is a priority.

    This position is full-time but with flexibility for part-time to fit your schedule.

    What You Will Do:

    • Independent Client Management: Assess, diagnose, and plan treatments with a supportive, structured approach. We offer 45-minute initial consults and 30-minute follow-ups, with longer appointment times for new graduates. Our varied clientele includes post-operative, lymphoedema, Neurological, NDIS, Sports, vestibular, concussion and ante/postnatal patients
    • Day-to-Day Variety: Providing patient centred care that includes personalised exercise programs whether that be 1:1, small group rehabilitation or aquatic therapy. Offering manual therapy or taping techniques to assist with pain management and improvement of function. You may also have the opportunity to conduct home visits using our company vehicle.
    • Build Your Skills & Interests: We encourage you to express your unique clinical interests. Want to gain more experience in Lymphoedema, Musculoskeletal or Neuro-rehab? Let’s work together to make it happen!
      • Lymphoedema - including the use of a ‘Sozo’ Medical Bioimpedance Spectroscopy for accurate assessment and therapeutic laser as part of rehabilitation care.
      • Musculoskeletal - being able to use ‘AxIT’ force plates and dynamometers to assess and guide rehabilitation with the use of strength and conditioning, cardio and pilates based equipment.
      • Neurological Rehabilitation - With the ability to provide therapy in the clinic across 2 different sites, one of which is a fully equipped gym, or community based therapy whether at the client’s home, in the pool or outdoors.
    • Collaborative Care Approach: Work in a multidisciplinary team with Exercise Physiologists, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Hand Therapist, and a Psychologist to provide holistic support for our clients.

     

    The Following Are Essential:

    • Registered with AHPRA
    • Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Check (RWVP)
    • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
    • Current First Aid & CPR

    Role Desirables:

    • 2-3 years of experience (not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply)
    • Valid driver’s licence
    • Experience or interest in lymphoedema management, Clinical Pilates (we’re happy to train motivated individuals)
