Position: Exercise Physiologist
About the Opportunity
At In-Balance, we’re on the lookout for an experienced Exercise Physiologist ready to join our supportive, collaborative team. This role offers the chance to utilise your expertise across a diverse client base. If you’re passionate about helping clients achieve meaningful outcomes, we’d love to hear from you.
This position is full-time but with flexibility for part-time arrangements to suit your schedule.
What You Will Do:
- Independent Client Management: Deliver tailored exercise programs for individuals and groups to manage conditions such as musculoskeletal injuries, chronic diseases, neurological rehabilitation and exercise for the ageing population including peri & post-menopausal women. Sessions include 1:1 appointments, group rehabilitation, and aquatic therapy.
- Day-to-Day Variety: Work across clinic-based therapy, gym spaces, and community settings, including home visits with access to a company vehicle. Use tools like our AxIT force plates and dynamometers to assess and guide rehabilitation.
- Collaborative Care Approach: Be part of a multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, Mental Health Occupational Therapy, Psychologist and Hand Therapists to provide holistic care to clients.
The Following Are Essential:
- ESSA Accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist
- Working with Vulnerable People Check (RWVP)
- Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification
- Valid driver’s licence
Role Desirables:
- 2-3 years of experience (however new graduates are also encouraged to apply)
- Experience or interest in women’s health
- Clinical Pilates experience
